It’s that time of year again. Time for Air Force Academy Falcons football! And this year, from the opener against the Abilene Christian Wildcats on Sept. 3 through the final 2016 home game vs. the Boise State Broncos Nov. 25 and every home game in between, South Colorado Springs Nissan is teaming up with our Falcons to provide an all-new fan experience – the Fan Zone.

Sponsored by the South Colorado Springs area’s premier dealership for new Nissans and quality pre-owned vehicles of all makes and models, the Fan Zone will open three hours before kickoff for all Air Force Academy home games. The Fan Zone will feature family-friendly fun and tailgating opportunities, providing a place for families, friends and fans to squeeze all they can out of the Air Force Academy Falcons football experience.

Join South Colorado Springs Nissan and all your favorite Falcons fans before all of these home games this year:

• Saturday, Sept. 3 at noon Mountain Time vs. the Abilene Christian Wildcats – South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone opens at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 10 at noon Mountain Time vs. the Georgia State Panthers – South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone opens at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time vs. the Navy Midshipmen – South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone opens at 10:30 a.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 22 at noon Mountain Time vs. the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors – South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone opens at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 12 (Time TBA) vs. the Colorado State Rams – South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone opens three hours before kickoff.
• Friday, Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time vs. the Boise State Panthers – South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone opens at 10:30 a.m.

After last year’s 8-6 campaign, culminating in a tough loss to California in the Armed Forces Bowl, you won’t want to miss any of this year’s Air Force Academy Falcons home games. Here’s hoping the Falcons can continue with last year’s excellence on the home turf. While 2015’s perfect 6-0 home record can’t be improved on, this year’s opportunity to watch the Falcons take on major rivals Navy and Colorado State at home (both games were tough road losses last year) is plenty of motivation to come out to Falcon Stadium this year.

And if you’re bringing family and friends out to Falcon Stadium, you won’t want to miss the fun and camaraderie of the Fan Zone. You won’t have to look long or hard to find us. We’ll be set up right across from the main entrance to Falcon Stadium, bringing our special brand of South Colorado Springs Nissan hospitality to all Falcons fans (we’ll even take Colorado State fans as long as they turn their T-shirts inside out).

So, come on out and enjoy yourself before heading in to watch our Falcons defend last year’s perfect home record and the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy and see if we can’t get the Ram-Falcon Trophy back at the Air Force Academy where it rightfully belongs. And don’t forget to come early to enjoy the South Colorado Springs Nissan Fan Zone.
